After the incredible success of last year’s event, the Irish Hot Air Ballooning Championships will once again take to the skies above Lough Key Forest & Activity Park from 19–25 September 2026. With dozens of bright, colourful balloons rising above the treetops and over the tranquil waters of Lough Key, the championships created a truly memorable spectacle last year — and 2026 promises even more.
