Wed 27th Sep 2023

A balloon team lead by UK based pilot Ian Wadey visited Gaelscoil an Eiscir Risda on Wednesday.

Ian described the visit as a very rewarding experience and thanked the school for the the warm welcome. A basket and duo sky chariot was assembled outside with an envelope inflated inside the school hall.

There was much enthusiasm from the pupils with chants of  ‘fire’, "fire" to operate the burner again.

Ian's crew consists of wife and daughter Laura & Hannah Wadey, Graeme Scaife, Tony Gould, Brian Smith and Jamie Palmer.
